SPORTS

Since I was a little girl, my parents instilled in me an enthusiasm for sports and supported me in every sporting phase I had. My mother was a ballet dancer and nowadays she stays constant in gymnastics and my father was an amateur footballer and nowadays he is a runner, so they had always been concerned to motivate my siblings and me to do a kind of sport.

My first official physical activity was when I was 7 years old, when I joined the swimming team at school. I stayed at the team for two years and I participated in several competitions.

At age 8, I joined the cheerleading team at the school and I stayed in that discipline for 6 years, until I was 12 years old. Although it has not been officially considered as a sport, I consider it as a sport because of the good level of exercise and physical preparation that requires. I think that the best years of my life have been during my stay in the team, I met many friends and I enjoyed the discipline. Although it was a very sacrificed sport, both for the students and for the parents, the effort was finally worth it because we always did well in the competitions. Moreover, once we won the national and had the opportunity to be in the world of cheerleaders and the United States, but the school did not allow us to travel. Here you can see a photo of my last presentation as a cheerleader, I hope you can find me haha.

During those years, I remember practicing handball and artistic gymnastics, but nothing of greater importance.

Already at age 16, I joined the athletic team, where I also enjoyed training a lot but I did not like to compete. In this photo I am in my school athletic uniform.
Finally, this year I joined the athletics team of the University, but I could only participate for a short period of time since I did not have enough time to study.
I hope I can organize my time better and go back to practicing a sport soon.
