What is your opinion about legalizing marijuana and other drugs?

About the legalization of marijuana and other drugs, I completely agree. Today there are many legal drugs that are much more harmful than the one mentioned and there are no informed opinions about it. I think the most important thing is to educate people about it because there are many benefits in the use of these drugs, especially for people who need them as medicines.

What is your opinion about the Chilean tradition called “mechoneo”?

I believe that the old and barbaric university tradition called "Mechoneo" that is usually done, or rather used to do, since many universities have forbidden it, is terrible. I do not understand the need to humiliate colleagues with the excuse of welcoming the university. There are many entertaining and worthy ways to welcome new students without having to damage physical integrity. Good thing I did not have to go through that experience and many universities are leaving this practice.

What is your opinion about recycling?

The recycling activity is a habit that has gradually been established and that should be inherent to our culture, understanding the global needs of the world today and the benefits generated by the culture of recycling. It is necessary to generate awareness about it and educate about the what, how and when of this practice. Bring it closer to all levels of life and reduce the waste is super important nowadays!

What is your opinion about legalizing abortion in some cases?

I think that the abortion is a human right, because every women has the freedom of choosing about her own body. Moreover, in my opinion, abortion should be free, not only under the conditions of three causes, as it is in the case of Chile. The State has an obligation to protect people and must provide support to women and secure access to the opportunity to abort, given that many women die because they do not have the economic conditions to pay for a safe abortion.
