ENGLISH LANGUAGE CHALLENGES
Since I was a little girl, I always liked English and at school I always had more facility to learn it, it was even my course with the best average of notes haha. This is the first English course I take at university and the truth is that to be English level 4, I find that the difficulty is very low, the activities and assessments are more or less easy. However, the classes were entertaining.
Among the most recurrent activities in the course was writing "blogs" about topics that the teacher agreed upon. This helped me practice my writing in English, as well as allowing me to get to know my classmates and the teacher a bit more.
Of the four skills that are worked in English, in my opinion the simplest are reading and listening. Writing is a skill that I must improve, but the most important one to improve for me is speaking. The reason for this is that it gives me a bit of shame to speak in English and that reduces my performance. The other thing is that sometimes I complicate a lot what I want to say, instead of saying it with simpler words.
To improve the speaking, I intend to talk more with other people to get used to the language. Now I will make a trip in which I will use much more English, I will even make university courses in English, so I hope that can help.
Currently, I use English to read, watch series and movies. I see them with audio and subtitles in English. From time to time I talk with my parents in English since they are also studying the language. And what I do most in day to day, is to listen to music in English.
