STUDYING PUBLIC MANAGEMENT

I decided to study Public Administration because, since I was a child I was interested in this subject, in fact, I discussed these subjects a lot with my family when I was 5 years old. However, it was not until the penultimate year at the school that I knew the existence of this career, given that until then I wanted to study Political Science. When I met it, it became my second option when applying to the university.
As I mentioned, my first option was Political Science, however, I thank fate for having placed myself in this career since being inside the university I realized that it was quite different careers and every day I love more what I am studying.
The main reason that led me to want to study public administration is that from here I feel that I can make changes in society, however small they are, they are necessary.
The Universidad de Chile was my only option to study this career, and if they did not accept me at the first opportunity, I would have tried it the following year again.
So far I feel that I have had a very good experience, I have met very good friends and I have learned many things. I hope that the 3 years that I have left of studies can continue to enjoy the personal relationships and knowledge that the classes have given me.

So far, my favorite class has been a branch called "Studies of Political Phenomena", because I learned a lot about the behavior of people in the world of politics, and what politics really means.
The most significant thing I have learned up to this point is that we are and will be the leaders to carry out the change that each person needs, to understand the needs of society as a whole and to address them in the best way.
